English Translation:
The Qin Dynasty prime minister Zhao Gao wanted to test the ministers' attitudes. He brought a deer to the court and said it was a horse. Qin Er Shi laughed and said: "The prime minister is mistaken, this is clearly a deer." Zhao Gao asked the ministers. Some said it was a deer, while others, fearing Zhao Gao, said it was a horse. Later, those who said it was a deer were all harmed by Zhao Gao.
