I went to Beijing for a trip last week. I flew to the airport, then took the subway to the city center. The hotel I stayed at was very convenient, very close to the subway station. I visited the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the Great Wall. Every place was very spectacular. I also bought a lot of souvenirs. This trip was really wonderful!

Culture Tip: Traveling in China

China has a well-developed transportation system. The high-speed rail network (高铁 gāo tiě) is one of the most extensive in the world, making train travel a convenient option. The subway systems in major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou are efficient and affordable.

When visiting tourist attractions in China, it's advisable to book tickets in advance, especially during peak seasons like National Day (国庆节 Guó Qìng Jié) and the Chinese New Year. Many attractions have separate ticket prices for peak and off-peak seasons.

China's most famous attractions include the Great Wall (长城 Cháng Chéng), the Forbidden City (故宫 Gù Gōng), the Terracotta Army (兵马俑 Bīng Mǎ Yǒng), and West Lake (西湖 Xī Hú). Each offers a unique glimpse into Chinese history and culture.

For international travelers, mobile payment apps like Alipay and WeChat Pay are widely accepted, but it's still helpful to carry some cash, especially when visiting smaller shops or markets.
