Grammar Review 语法复习

Basic Sentence Structure
Chinese sentence structure is typically Subject + Verb + Object (SVO), similar to English. For example: 我 (I) + 喜欢 (like) + 中国 (China) → 我喜欢中国 (I like China).
Yes/No Questions
To form a yes/no question in Chinese, simply add 吗 (ma) at the end of a statement. For example: 你是学生 (You are a student) → 你是学生吗?(Are you a student?)
Wh-Questions
To form wh-questions, use question words like 什么 (what), 谁 (who), 哪里 (where), 什么时候 (when), 怎么 (how) in the appropriate position. For example: 你叫什么名字?(What's your name?)
Using 有 (yǒu)
有 (yǒu) is used to indicate existence or possession. For example: 我有一本书 (I have a book), 这里有一个公园 (There is a park here).
Using 是 (shì)
是 (shì) is used as the verb "to be" for equating or identifying. For example: 我是学生 (I am a student), 这是我的书 (This is my book).
